99Wool Europe focuses on wool tops finer than 26micron as follows:

99 wool production
As wool tops are usually the starting point for all our customers, it is important to understand the final use and end product, in order to optimise the quality of the wool tops delivered. This increased understanding leads to a better customer-specific designed wool top and also to an optimised price.
Where do we process our wool tops?
We have entered into production agreements with three separate mills in China.
We will select the most suitable mill for each order, depending on type and final use. The competitive tariffs combined with sourcing and processing expertise will be an important factor in our quest to produce good quality tops at attractive prices that will be passed on to our customers.
We intend over time to hold certain types of stock in Europe for select European customers.
Who are the partners at 99 Wool?
Eric Durand, Claudio Ceria, Olivier Treca and Kristian Flanagan have all had long careers within the wool industry and have complementing skill-sets as well as shared core values.
We as partners look forward to building on and nurturing existing relationships as well as forging new ones; we are an independent company with strong co-operation partners not only within sourcing of raw material but also within processing, finance and logistics.
Our goal is to produce and deliver a good product at a low price by combining experience, understanding of our customers’ needs, core values and integrity.
What is our capacity?
At maturity, we are aiming to produce approximately 300tons of tops per month.
We will avoid spreading ourselves to thin by being “everything to everyone” and rather that we will work closely with selected customers.

Eric DURAND
PurchaseStudied business and financial market but by chance started work in the Wool industry in New Zealand at the age of 22. This life journey took me to Australia, France USA, back to Australia and finally to Bulgaria. Over the years I developed a passion for wool and an intimate knowledge of the various origins and Different types of wool. I have processed wool from most producing countries and have established long term relationships with farmers and suppliers enabling me to provide tailored solutions to clients. My stay in Bulgaria started in 2015 where I initiated and completed a project of starting a new factory in a new country. This extended my manufacturing knowledge and how we can best process wool.
Kristian FLANAGAN
Director, Sales and logisticsSwedish born Australian, joined a British wool trading house in 1996, MD for the Australian branch 2004-2008
Co-owned and co-managed a topmaking mill in Taiwan 2013-2018 Experience in sourcing, processing, derivatives, logistics and risk management
Avid golfer and padelplayer which combines well with an entrepreneurial mindset, trying to live both personally and professionally by the motto "say what you do, do what you say"
Claudio CERIA
Sales Director I graduated in textile at ITIS Q.Sella in Biella, joined the wool industry in 2001 and eventually joined a major wool and cashmere Italian producer and trader. I have been involved in almost all areas of the business, from sampling to greasy inspection at the combing mills, from coordinating agents to dealing directly with customers which allowed my passion for our wonderful fibre to flourish. My cornerstones are trust and reliability without compromise. I have followed the entire European market for many years including, of course, Italy which I will follow from 2025 onwards. Being a husband and a father of two lovely teen-girls complete me as a person - as well as my addiction to basketball!
Olivier TRECA
Director, Production, Quality and IT53 years old, a French master degree in engineering, I have 20 years' experience in the wool sector in all company positions: quality, R&D, production, plant manager at ADF Dewavrin.
Project manager from scratch for the Dynamo combing plant in Sliven: scouring, carding, combing, depollution, IT, recruitment and training. Optimisation of the site after 2020.
Experience in other sectors, plastics, sugar industry, metallurgy.
Company founder in the outdoor sector, youtuber, chess and tennis player.
